Wedding Venues

Before you can decide upon a wedding venue there are a number of factors which should be taken into consideration. They include identifing the number of guests that will be attending your wedding, whether or not you want to get married there as well as having your wedding reception there and whether they have availability for your chosen wedding date.

Try and visit a prospective wedding venue a year in advance of your wedding day. That way you will know what the weather will be like, what flowers are out in bloom and how much light you have available.

The venue may have a number of rooms and extensive grounds, however it is important to find out if you will have access. Find out if there are any restrictions in terms of what you will be allowed to do on the day such as entertainment, the use of confetti, and the erection of a marquee should the venue not be large enough to accommodate all your wedding guests.

Do check if you have exclusive use of the wedding venue on the day, as it may spoil your big day to find another wedding party present you had not been fore warned about.
