Wedding Musicians & Bands
Having good musical entertainment is one of the key elements to a successful wedding. Music can be incorporated wherever you like during the course of your wedding day. Two popular areas of musical inclusion are during the wedding ceremony and the evening reception.

Depending on your wedding theme this might influence what style of music you have. For example if you are having a formal wedding with all the traditional trimmings then perhaps you might wish to have an ensemble or string quartet perform during the wedding ceremony.

However there are no hard and fast rules here, you might like to hire some musicians and get them to play a particular style to suit your taste.

Musicians and Bands have the ability to break the ice between wedding guests just by playing music and song that has a universal appeal. When hiring musicians or a band try and visit a few wedding fairs in advance, as you will often see some live performances. If you are unable to, ask that you be sent a sample CD of there work. That way you will be able to establish whether you like there style or not.

The musical artists should have experience performing at a wedding and as such should be able to assist you in putting together a play list which will appeal to a wide section of your wedding guests.

Ask them to visit the wedding venue in advance of your big day in order to establish where they will be required to set up and what facilities are available. To avoid disappointment discuss in advance your musical entertainment plans with the wedding venue, in case they have any restrictions.
