Wedding Favours
The age old custom of giving wedding favours is thought to have originated from Italy. They were traditionally known as 'Bomboniere'. They consisted of sugar-coated almonds gathered within a net. The significance of giving five sugared almonds was they individually symbolised health, wealth, happiness, long-life and fertility.

Giving wedding guests favours is a wedding tradition which is still very much alive today. However it is not just sugared almonds which are given as favours there are a whole host of alternative gifts your guests could receive such as miniatures, chocolate, fortune cookies, lottery tickets, candles, plant seeds and more.
