Children can make a wonderful addition to your wedding party. They bring a sense of fun and a youthful element to your big day.

Flowergirls are normally between the age of 5 and 10. Traditionally the Flowergirl would walk in front of the Bride scattering flower petals so the Bride could walk upon, although now a days it is more common to see the Flowergirl carrying a posy of flowers.

Page boys are normally between the age of 5 and 10. Traditionally he's role was to carry either the rings on a cushion or carry the trail of the Brides wedding dress as she walked down the aisle.

With the Page boy and Flowergirl being such predominate figures in the bridal party it seems only fitting that they too should be dressed for the occasion.

In the past Flowergirls and Page boys would have worn white however over time peoples tastes have changed and as a result Page boy outfits, Flowergirl dresses and Children Bridesmaid dresses can be made in any colour. A Page boy can arrive at your wedding in a miniature version of the Grooms outfit. The Flowergirls could have a white dress with a coloured sash to match the wedding colours of the Bride.

Its important to remember although we all want the little cherubs to look delightful and angelic in there outfits they must not overshadow but rather compliment the Bride and Groom.

Whether you are buying children wear off the peg or having it made try and organise it as close to your wedding date as possible due to children still growing.
