Friendly Wedding Terms & Guidelines of Listing

IMPORTANT : If you have already submitted your site there is no need to do so a second time. Check www.weddingresource.co.uk for the status of your listing request.

There are 4 listing options with the Friendly Wedding Directory.

All listings are subject to our approval. All sites are randomised within their listing type.

	1. Priority Listing - only £24 for 1 year These page one priority listings are restricted to just 5 results for maximum exposure. Each entry includes a thumbshot image of the home page. A direct reciprocal link would be beneficial, but is not required. The results are ordered by those sites that offer a direct reciprocal link, followed by the others.
	2. Sponsored Listing - only £12 for 1 year These page two sponsored listings are restricted to just 15 results for excellent exposure. Each entry includes a thumbshot image of the home page. A direct reciprocal link would be beneficial, but is not required. The results are ordered by those sites that offer a direct reciprocal link, followed by the others.
No Image	3. Basic Plus Listing Basic Plus listings appear from page three onwards, but ahead of the Basic Listings. This is a free listing but does require a direct reciprocal link to our site, detailed below. These results appear above the basic listings. NB: You can only list in one category per domain.You can't update your listing once added so dont use time-sensitive copy.
No Image	4. Basic Listing Basic Listings appear from page three onwards, after all other listing options. This is free and you do not need to link back to us. These results will appear behind all other links. These results are shown in random order. NB: You can only list in one category per domain.You can't update your listing once added so dont use time-sensitive copy.

If there are not sufficient Priority or Sponsored listings for a given category the basic listings will appear on these pages. Once the Priority and Sponsored listings places are all fully taken you can be added to the waiting list.

If you have a Priority or Sponsored listing you will keep the same position within your chosen region, when the regional searches are introduced.

Important Information

We aim to maintain a certain level of quality within our directory, therefore these sites WILL NOT be accepted.

Pharms, adult sites, gambling, duplicate sites, doorways, affiliates or sites under construction.
Websites that redirect to another domain.
Websites that re-size the browser window automatically.
Websites that are under construction.
Websites consisting of mostly affiliate links.
Websites that offer no value to human visitors.
Websites that are deemed offensive or illegal.
Websites that contain automatic pop-ups or pop-unders.
Websites that contain a flash only home page, with no visible message for non-flash users.

Submission Guidelines

Do select a region and enter your postcode. You will automatically appear in the main search, so selecting a specific postcode will double your visibility when we introduce the regionalised search options. If you don't select a postcode you will only appear in the main results.
Your Title must contain your company/website name. You may also add your product or service. e.g. ABC Company - Wedding Photography. Please use Proper Title Text - - if you don't it will be rejected.
Do not capitalize the first letter of every word in the site description and check your spelling. We'll correct a few mistakes, but too many and it's rejected.
Do not use ALL UPPER CASE in any part of your listing - if you do it will be rejected.
Please provide the URL that is relevant to Weddings - we will then use your homepage for the 'display URL' and you specific URL for the destination.
We will get your entry indexed as fast as possible, Priority and Sponsored within 3 working days.
We only send confirmation e-mails for Priority and Sponsored Listing, for all others if you don't see you site listed within a week, you can assume that your site has not been accepted. Please read the above criteria for acceptance.
Your site must serve the UK and be Wedding related.
We reserve the right to make editorial or link destination changes for any listing request, including paid options. If you are not happy with this, contact us BEFORE listing.
If we spend time processing your listing and subsequently reject it as you have not spent the time reading the above, or if you have, you have ignored it, then we will not spend any more time considering your site for any future listing, unless it is a Priority or Sponsored request.
